Anirudh “Anni” Pathak, a divorced middle-aged man, tries to comfort his son Raghav, an aspiring IIT engineer, who is under immense pressure before his exam results. After failing the entrance exam, Raghav attempts suicide but survives, leaving Anni and his ex-wife Maya in despair. To help Raghav regain hope, Anni recalls his own college days in 1992, when he was part of the “loser” hostel, H4. Along with his quirky group of friends, including Sexa, Mummy, Acid, and Bevda, Anni learns valuable life lessons about effort and resilience during the intense General Championship sports competition.

As Anni recounts these stories, Raghav is inspired to fight for his life and undergo surgery. A year later, Raghav, now recovered, starts his college journey with a renewed outlook on life. The film is a heartwarming tale about overcoming failure, finding strength in friendship, and understanding that success is not defined by outcomes but by effort and perseverance.
